So the one thing I have been noticing while on this trip is how deep of a sleep I have been having. I will sleep so deeply that I have always been waking up forgetting where I am and what I am doing and it takes me a minute to realize that I am in fact not home but in some random state working on a show about animals. Also I have been having very vivid dreams…well vivid at the time whenever I wake up it takes me a bit to try to remember and then it slowly just fades away.
I just woke up and tried to write down as best as I could the dream I just had. It may not seem like much but it was very real in my mind. So here it is.
So I just woke up from a really great dream.
I was back home in my house in Nahant and it was the summer time. We were having a party I was with my parents and my friends from school and Adam. It was a really gorgeous summer day and there was a bright blue sky. However the house was different. The house had been converted where the room that was my parents bedroom was now an office/sun room that had a spiral staircase that went down. Past the office/sun room you could see a big bedroom which I can only assume is my folks new bedroom on the other side where the office/bathroom used to be. Down the spiral staircase that is iron and hardwood steps there is a nice smallish room that holds photos and books but has a screen door that goes straight out too the cove which has also been slightly reworked and reshaped so its bigger but also in a design so water will not seep into the new room. Next to this room is a living room that is all hardwood with a TV and chairs. I remember thinking that “man that is very impressive”. Because anyone who has been to my house that its almost impossible to had a downstairs from where my parents bedroom is because below that is solid rock. I’m not saying it could not be done but it would take a very long time and probably more money then anything, but it looked really really cool.
I remember all of us hanging out having a good time, We were also celebrating because I rescued two cats and a kitten and also a pet fox for my dad. We were having a great time when we noticed that inside the water there was this family of HUGE turtles swimming around. The baby turtle even climbed into one of our open windows but this baby turtle was as big as a Labrador dog. We were advised to not go near it because it was scared and it could also really mess us up. So the turtle walked through the house for a bit and then jumped back into the water and the festivities continued. Also looking into the cove we noticed that there was a huge Manatee in the cove too swimming around. I remember all of us trying to be cautious about it but I distinctly remember my friend Lauren saying something about how she would not let some sea cow push her around to which she ran and did a cannonball into the water.
As odd as it was that there was giant sea life roaming around the house that should not have belonged there I do remember feeling like it was a great time and everyone there was really happy.
I think my subconscious might be telling me I’m missing home?
