Well folks today was the last day of shooting and we ended it on a high note. We started by saying goodbye to New Jersey and made our way to just past our Nations Capital to Virginia. After 4 and a half hours of travel we made our way to our segment for the day. Our segment today was the third and final part of our Military Rescue segment. We met up with this sweet woman who told us her story about how she found a cat while in Iraq and all the steps she had to go through to rescue it. I thought her story was really great and very heartfelt. Her cat was adorable and very vocal. She also had another cat a Sphinx cat which I found weirdly adorable also. I know allot of you will think that Sphinx cats are not pretty and weird looking because of the lack of hair they have, but that Sphinx cat there was so nice and playful and petting it was really cool, they actually have a thin layer of peach fuzz. I think they fit in the same cute category as bulldogs.
After we were done with our segment we just quickly went back to the capital and that was it folks. There was no long goodbyes our producer was going to be late for his plane so we littarly dropped him off near his gate and that was goodbye. I quickly exchanged some things with the DP and our host and we then said our goodbyes and parted ways. It will probably not be the last time I see them but it still is the last time for a while. I made my way more into Maryland and spending the night here before I make my way back home tomorrow.
This is by means no end of the adventure but it is the end of this most recent batch of travels. I will give a much more detailed post soon of my thoughts of the whole thing and some things I thought of along the way. Right now I need sleep like woah.
